Connect E-Sports hosts extra life dayton
Friday October 15th, Connect E-Sports will be hosting a charity Mario Kart LAN Tournament for Extra Life Dayton.
Racers will compete for prizes from local businesses, while all proceeds will go towards Extra Life Dayton.
Extra Life Dayton is powered by dedicated and passionate gamers who increase funds and awareness for Dayton Children’s Hospital. Every year, they host a game day, where teams or people pledge to stream for 24 hours to raise money for Dayton Children’s. This year’s game day is November 6th. To learn how to get more involved visit their Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/ExtraLifeDayton
“Supporting Extra Life Dayton is a no brainer for any gamer. Dayton Children’s provides the best care for children in need in Dayton, and kids deserve to feel like kids within the hospital. Video games can provide an outlet for stress and anxiety, and add in a little bit of fun for kids who are going through a tough time in their life,” Mary Baldino, Owner of Connect E-Sports.
